Shipping & Delivery Policy

1. Order Processing & Delivery Times
Processing Time: All orders are processed within 24–48 business hours after full payment verification.
Estimated Delivery: Most shipments arrive within 5 to 10 business days. While we make every effort to meet these estimates, transit times may vary due to carrier schedules, weather, or distance.
Tracking: You will receive a tracking number via email 24–48 hours after your item leaves our facility. Please check your spam/junk folder for emails from American Used Auto Parts LLC.
If you have not received your order after 10 business days, please contact our logistics team at shipping@americanusedautoparts.us.
2. Freight Shipping (Engines & Transmissions)
Large assemblies (Engines, Transmissions, Axles) are shipped via Commercial Freight. To ensure a safe delivery, please note the following:
- Commercial Address (Preferred): We recommend shipping to a business address with a loading dock or forklift capabilities.
- Residential Delivery: We can ship to a residential address or a business without a dock for an additional $75.00 Liftgate Fee. The driver will lower the pallet to the curb. They will not move the item into your garage, driveway, or backyard.
- Terminal Pickup: If you cannot accept a residential delivery, we can ship to the nearest freight terminal for you to pick up.
3. Inspection Upon Delivery (Critical)
You must inspect your shipment immediately upon arrival.
Before signing the Bill of Lading (delivery receipt), check the pallet and packaging for any visible damage. If damage is found, you must note it on the driver’s paperwork or refuse the shipment. If you sign for the item as "Received in Good Condition," American Used Auto Parts LLC cannot be held liable for shipping damages reported later.
4. Carrier Selection & Methods
To ensure the fastest delivery, American Used Auto Parts LLC utilizes a diversified network of licensed LTL carriers and ground partners.
- Carrier Choice: We select the specific carrier based on your delivery location and the part's originating facility.
- Tracking: Regardless of the carrier used, you will receive a universal tracking link to monitor your shipment.
5. Shipping Restrictions
- Service Area: We ship exclusively to the Continental 48 United States.
- No PO Boxes: We cannot ship engines or transmissions to PO Boxes or APO/FPO addresses. A valid physical street address is required.
- International: At this time, we do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, Puerto Rico, or international locations.
6. Handling & Packaging Fees
To ensure your high-value powertrain components arrive safely, all items are secured on 4x4 or 6x6 pallets, banded, and shrink-wrapped. A standard handling/crating fee is typically included in your shipping quote unless otherwise noted.
7. Arranging Your Own Shipping
For liability and security reasons, we do not allow customers to arrange their own shipping. We use selected reliable carriers to ensure the chain of custody and proper insurance coverage for your part.
8. Free Shipping Terms
If a product is marked for "Free Shipping," this applies to Standard Ground or Commercial Freight delivery within the Continental US. Extra fees for residential liftgate service ($75) still apply unless explicitly waived in writing. American Used Auto Parts LLC reserves the right to modify shipping offers at any time.
